Tuesday the 21st April 2009 saw the birth of the Eastleigh Fusion Choir at St Andrews Methodist Church, Blenheim Road, Eastleigh
This is a mixed choir in the broadest sense of the word (think Sister Act at it's best!!!!!) and no previous experience or knowledge of musictheory will be necessary as all parts will be taught by ear.
EVERYBODY IS WELCOME!!!!!!
The choir was founded and is run by Savannah Fuenmayor, owner of Music with Savannah. Besides running the choir Savannah also runs workshops and is a private singing teacher.
The choir's repetoire varies from Spirituals to the Sound of Music, Motown to Meatloaf and suggestions for new songs are always welcome and will be taken into consideration. Have a look below to see some songs we have already mastered!
The main aim is to have fun singing together whilst at the same time enjoying music and learning new songs
Rehearsals are every Tuesday (please check below for all the dates up till September 2009) from 8-9.30 PM at above mentioned venue.
A small contribution of £3.50 per person will be required per session to help pay for the venue, backing tracks and paper
